Xfinity is the cable division of Comcast, the company that owns Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment. They have promoted The Secret Life of Pets.
In 2016, for a limited time on Xfinity's X1 platform, if a user said "Bark, bark" to the voice remote, the user would be led to an informational page about The Secret Life of Pets. This was intended to be an "Easter egg" in reference to a promotional commercial ran in 2016 for The Secret Life of Pets where Gidget barked into the voice remote and was led to the movie. After the December 2016 release of Sing, another Illumination movie, this feature was quietly removed.
