The subject of this article was not given a name in any official media from The Secret Life of Pets franchise. As such, "Buddy's owners" is purely conjectural.
Buddy's owners are a small family of three. They are the owners of Buddy and the next-door neighbors of Mel's owner.
Plot[]
The family includes a husband, wife, and their young son. Near the end of The Secret Life of Pets, Buddy goes home and notices his owners are coming, so he barks at the door and then hides under a small end table beside the door. The young boy (Norman) enters the apartment, but does not see Buddy right away. While Norman is confused, Buddy barks again behind him making Norman notice him, and they share a hug.

- In a Cinemark ad for the movie, it is revealed that Buddy also has a male adult owner.
