Title: The Sound Of Memory...
Main characters: Charlie (Shiba Inu), Daisy (Shih Tzu), Max (Jack Russell Terrier), Snowball (Rabbit), Gidget (Spitz), Charlotte (Samoyed)
SCENE 1 – Daisy's Heart
Inside Daisy's apartment – twilight.
The room is silent. Daisy, once bold and fearless, now lies in a corner of the room. Her yellow flower on top of her head has wilted like her spirit. Max and Gidget enter, worried.
Max (in a gentle tone):— Daisy... we'll figure this out. Charlie will come back.
Daisy (voice choked):— Come back to who? He doesn't even remember me, Max... and even if he did, he chose someone else.
Gidget (trying to cheer her up):— He didn't. That... that's not Charlie. Charlotte did something, we know!
SCENE 2 – Charlotte’s Secret
Charlotte’s Samoyed Apartment – Night
Snowball, dressed like a secret agent with sunglasses and a backpack, searches the place.
Snowball (talking to himself):— Find a love spell… where did she hide it…? Aha!
He finds a purple diary with little hearts on the cover. As he flips through it, he reads a note:
"The love potion works perfectly. Charlie doesn’t even remember Daisy. But it’s fragile… all it takes is one act of true love to break it. I’ll never let that happen.”
Snowball (shocked):— I knew it! This Charlotte is faker than my yoga teacher’s diploma!
SCENE 3 – The Plan
At Max’s house – the friends are gathered with Daisy
Snowball (excitedly):— It’s a spell! True love breaks it! It’s classic! It’s like a fairy tale, only with less puffy dresses and more fur!
Max:— So, we need to make Charlie remember… somehow.
Daisy (hopelessly):— You guys talk as if he still loves me. I don’t even know if that ever happened anymore.
Gidget (taking Daisy’s paws):— Daisy, if there’s one thing that’s never changed, it’s the way you looked at him. And if there’s anyone capable of breaking that… it’s you.
SCENE 4 – The Meeting and the Singing
Square in the city center – night
The plan: to lure Charlie to the square, where Daisy would sing something that only he would understand. The pets hide among bushes, trash cans and benches.
Charlie arrives with Charlotte, walking like a zombie in love. But when he sees Daisy, something in his gaze wavers.
Charlotte (with a sweet but firm voice):— Charlie, come. Ignore her. She means nothing to you.
Daisy takes a deep breath. Her heart is racing. But she stands up, looks straight into Charlie's eyes... and begins to sing in a firm, sweet voice:
🎵"All the love gone bad
Turned my world to black
Tattooed all I see
All that I am
All that I'll be, yeah"🎵
The words echo as if they came from another time. Charlie takes a step forward. His head throbs. Memories begin to surface - a picnic in the park, laughter on the roof, Daisy with a yellow flower on her head...
Charlotte (desperate):— CHARLIE! LOOK AT ME!
Charlie (with a trembling voice, eyes full of tears):— D-Daisy?
🎵“I know someday you'll have a beautiful life
I know you'll be a star
In somebody else's sky
But why, why, why
Can't it be, can't it be mine?”🎵
He falls to his knees (or paws) and brings his paws to his head. The spell is undone in an invisible glow. The shadows that surrounded him disappear.
Charlie (crying):— I remember… I… I love you, Daisy.
He runs and hugs her, leaning his forehead against hers.
Charlotte (screaming):— NO!!! This wasn't supposed to happen! NO!!!
Gidget (coming out of the bush with her paws on her hips):— Oh, go comb the ice, Charlotte. It's over. Take your spell and go play witch by yourself.
Charlotte glares at everyone with hatred, but knows she lost. She turns her back and leaves, huffing.
FINAL SCENE – The Recovered Essence
Daisy, moved, smiles with tears in her eyes.
Daisy:— You're back.
Charlie (with his forehead leaning against hers):— I'm sorry... for everything. For not remembering. For hurting you...
Daisy (laughing softly):— I just wanted you back. That's enough.
Snowball (jumping around excitedly):— Now that's a happy ending! Someone give me a soundtrack!
Max (smiling):— Yeah... Charlie's back.
And there, under the streetlights of the square, surrounded by the friends who never gave up on him, Charlie kisses Daisy to applause, wagging tails, and hearts reconnected by the power of true love.
THE END.
